Inside Account Manager – Littleton, MA
At Marathon Technologies we are looking for a results driven, detail oriented sales professional to join our Inside Sales Team. This individual will work to identify and engage new customers while fostering existing relationships. In this position you will need to be highly motivated and work with our channel partners to build relationships and drive revenue. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.
Job Description:
- Possess high energy, can do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced inside sales environment
- Generate 70+ outbound calls per day (2hrs+ talk time) with a goal to qualify high priority inbound leads and develop 4 opportunities per week moving the opportunities from initial lead to a closed won opportunity
- Able to sell high transactional opportunities as well as enterprise level installations
- Responsible to close sales opportunities to meet assigned, monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
- Identify prospects and customer needs by leveraging key contacts (technical and decision makers) within a prospect’s organization
- Educate prospects and customers on Marathon Technologies’ products and the value proposition using a consultative approach to qualify and understand prospects and customer’s business needs
- Work with our Channel Partners in your assigned territory to maximize optimal sales opportunities for both yourself and our resellers
- Utilize SalesForce.com to document all sales related information and communication, including lead development, opportunity cycle and forecasting
- Guide prospects to the online webinars and collateral on Marathon Technologies’ website to move the prospect through the sales process
- Responsible to provide a weekly forecast and pipeline to Director of Inside Sales, which includes account planning information.
Work Hours: Requires the hours based on the assigned territory
Education: Bachelors Degree required
Minimum qualifications:
- 4+ years of Inside Sales selling an Application or Infrastructure software solution
- Experience in building software sales pipelines with the responsibility to close sales within an assigned territory
- Strong sales qualifying, email marketing skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, position Marathon Technologies” products and handle and manage objections
- Background selling onsite professional services and training a plus
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications (salesforce.com preferred)

ISV Representative – Littleton, MA
Job Description:
- Create a detailed territory plan each quarter to ensure optimal performance by the assigned partners and prospects in each quarter and a robust pipeline for the following quarter.
- Utilize Marathon Technologies’ sales tools and technologies to identify and qualify prospective partners in assigned industry verticals.
- Research and document the Go-to-Market strategies for each assigned partner or prospect. Identify key locations and contacts in the partner’s distribution network and prioritize their importance for each geographic market.
- Create programs to routinely communicate to each key contact. These communications should be aimed at creating awareness of Marathon, uncovering leads, qualifying and converting leads to opportunities and then closing a high percentage of those opportunities.
- Identify the needs of our partners’ customer solved by Marathon technology and services and leverage key contacts (technical and decision makers) within each partner organization to reach each customer.
- Educate both partners and their customers on Marathon Technologies’ products and the value proposition using a consultative approach to evaluate and understand prospects and customer’s business and needs.
- Work with partners (ISVs, SIs and VARs) to generate leads, build a funnel and drive sales with the assigned partners.
- Utilize SalesForce.com to document all sales related information and communication, including lead qualification, lead rating and accurate sales lead and opportunity information.
- Leverage website recordings and product downloads on Marathon Technologies’ website to move the prospect through the sales process.
- Gather feedback on marketing campaigns.
- Provide a weekly forecast and pipeline to Director of Inside Sales, which includes account planning information.

Education: Bachelors Degree required
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of Inside or Outside Sales experience selling a technical software product preferably Disaster Recovery products
- Experience selling software solutions that will be integrated into a partners product offerings
- Success in building software sales pipelines that include the responsibility to close sales within an assigned territory
- Experience and the ability to direct and coordinate internal resources to meet customer requirements
- Experience in selling into the channels of key solution providers servicing the Process Automation, Healthcare, Security, Material Handling or Gaming industries.
- Strong sales qualifying, email marketing skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, position Marathon Technologies” products and handle and manage objections
